Spice Time is a member of the Halal Food Authority.We work closely with HFA and other organisations engaged in bringing or aspiring to bring in changes in existing or forthcoming slaughtering rules. Because of reasons of their belief, Islamic methods of slaughter have to be somewhat conforming to their ethics. The purpose of liasion is to impart the requirements of Islamic jurisprudence and to create an understanding from the point of view of human slaughter and animal welfare, as both of these remits are part of Islamic injunctions.
